FOX4: Patient Receives New Heart and is Given Second Chance at Life on Easter Weekend

After living with an enlarged heart for more than 15 years, it took Nate just 16 days to receive a new heart and it came just in time. Just a day after his one year wedding anniversary, a few weeks away from meeting his first child, Nate received his new heart on Easter weekend at Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City.

Nate talked with FOX4 about getting a second chance at life. Watch his story below.
