Saint Luke's Health System provides financial assistance for underinsured and uninsured patients who meet criteria and demonstrate a need.
We evaluate each patient's documentation individually using the Federal Poverty Level as a guide. For instance, we may offer financial aid to:
- Uninsured patients who don't have the ability to pay for their care
- Insured patients who don't have the ability to pay for portions of their care not covered by insurance
- Deceased patients with no estates
- Patients involved in a catastrophic illness or injury, which causes serious financial hardship
Exclusions may apply in situations involving elective procedures or out-of-network services that were available in-network.
