    Saint Luke's East Hospital

    This class will teach you the basic life support skills for your infant (newborn to one year old) with hands-on manikin practice. Choking management will be included. This is an American Heart Association Family and Friends CPR course (no certification card). $15 per person. Check at front desk for class room location.

    Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City - Peet Center Conference Room

    Get the basics you need for successful breastfeeding. This class includes techniques and tips to get you off to a good start and ideas to help fit breastfeeding into your lifestyle. Birth partners and other family members are encouraged to attend.

    You'll find this unique class helpful if you're planning for a low-intervention or unmedicated birth experience.  A certified childbirth educator will help you prepare for what you might expect during your labor, birth and postpartum. Relaxation techniques and other comfort measures will be covered.  Please bring two pillows and dress comfortably.  $50/ Up to 2 people may attend.
