Learn More

Saint Luke's gynecologic oncology program provides advanced care for cancers of the female reproductive system. At Saint Luke’s, we believe in treating the whole woman—mind, body, and spirit.

Our expert, multidisciplinary team has the experience and compassion you want as partners in your journey. Your care plan will be tailored to best suit your unique cancer, health and lifestyle needs, and personal health goals.

We offer robotic and minimally invasive surgery, which shortens recovery times and minimizes scarring, as well as reconstructive surgery. Eligible ovarian cancer patients can benefit from hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy, a heated chemotherapy give at the time of surgery.

Chemotherapy is conveniently provided in the doctor's office. Our treatment protocols and research studies come from the Gynecologic Oncology Group, a cooperative cancer research group funded by the National Cancer Institute.

You’ll receive nutrition advice, counseling, and survivorship support through our Cancer Survivorship Program. You’ll have the full support of the Saint Luke’s Cancer Institute, including access to clinical trials and Saint Luke’s Hereditary Cancer Program.

Why You Want a Gynecologic Oncologist

Studies prove women with gynecological cancers who seek care with a gynecologic oncologist have better outcomes. Gynecologic oncologists have unique expertise in treating malignancies using advanced surgical and medical treatments that also minimize damage to healthy tissue.

Gary Johnson, M.D., is a board-certified gynecologic oncologist with decades of experience. He and his experienced team will manage your care throughout the entire course of treatment.
