Did you meet an outstanding nurse? Nominate an extraordinary nurse for a DAISY Award.
The DAISY Award was established by the DAISY Foundation, an organization for the elimination of diseases attacking the immune system. The foundation was established by the parents of J. Patrick Barnes, in the memory of their son, because they had experienced firsthand the skills and compassionate care of many nurses.
The award is given to outstanding nurses in more than 500 hospitals across the country and abroad. Saint Luke's is proud to be among the hospitals recognizing and honoring their extraordinary nurses. This award program offers patients, families, and professional colleagues a way to honor nurses for all they do.
