Private gifts to Saint Luke's Cushing Hospital Foundation help promote and advance our medical programs and the welfare of the community we serve. Gifts to the foundation can be established in many ways:

  • Memorial gifts are a meaningful and lasting tribute to family and friends.
  • Gifts in honor of a caregiver or loved one are a thoughtful way to express your appreciation while supporting our patient programs.
  • Providing for gifts to the foundation in a trust or will can create a legacy that will outlive the donor.
  • Designating the foundation as a beneficiary of one's pension plan, retirement account, or life insurance policy.

Mission

Enrich health care for Saint Luke’s Cushing Hospital through the development and investment of community resources, the enhancement of prevention through education, the serving of patient needs, and the encouragement of community awareness.

Community Programs

  • Mammogram for Every Woman
The Foundation has committed $30,000 to fund a mammogram for 90 uninsured women at $332 each. This program will give uninsured women the opportunity to have a breast cancer screening and detect cancer at a much earlier stage, which gives women a better chance at survival.
  • Stayin’ Alive
Targets women, the gatekeepers of health care with “prevention through knowledge programs.” The Foundation has hosted more than 300 women through this program.
  • Compassionate Care Program
Provides financial assistance for transportation, medications, equipment, and other unmet needs of patients when they leave the hospital if the patient does not have the ability to pay for those items.
  • Athletic Heart Fund
Provides screening for sudden cardiac death for high school athletes at a cost of $90 each
