Our year-long residency programs at Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City provide opportunities for pharmacy residents to work within a health system renowned for its innovation and research opportunities:

About the Pharmacy Department

Saint Luke’s Pharmacy Department includes a state-of-the-art IV compounding area, medication dispensing carousels with barcode technology, and an office for the residents. Each resident can access the hospital’s electronic medical records, medical library, and the Internet.

All Saint Luke’s Health System pharmacies use a patient-centered integrated model. Pharmacists are proactively engaged in medication selection and management with the multidisciplinary team. A decentralized distribution model uses automated dispensing cabinets throughout all facilities, giving pharmacists the ability to perform their responsibilities more easily.

We have an ongoing affiliation with University of Kansas School of Pharmacy and University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Pharmacy.
