The Jacobson & McElliott Diabetes & Endocrinology Center provides comprehensive services and features an integrated care team of endocrinologists, certified diabetes educators, registered dietitians, and exercise physiologists within the same suite. Additionally, the center:

  • Is recognized by the American Diabetes Association
  • Includes a dedicated classroom with an on-site kitchen for preparing diabetes-friendly meals
  • Provides direct access to specialty services, such as cardiology, podiatry, weight-loss surgery, and more
  • Works with referring physicians to provide strong continuity of care

Diabetes and endocrinology care

Our clinical team treats patients of all ages, including children and adolescents. Our pediatric endocrinologist specializes in helping young patients control their diabetes into adulthood. We collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to treat conditions ranging from thyroid cancer to cardiovascular issues related to diabetes and endocrine disorders.

Diabetes Education Center

The Diabetes Education Center provides easy access for patients who are newly diagnosed with diabetes, pre-diabetes, or those seeking additional help managing diabetes. We offer a range of classes and programs aimed at either supporting clinical care or as separate resources to promote a healthy lifestyle. When patients are referred to the Diabetes Education Center, their primary care doctors are able to remain fully involved with the patient's care. Family members are also encouraged to attend to provide additional support.
