Anderson County Hospital’s Residential Living Center is consistently honored as one of the best nursing homes in Kansas. The 36-bed facility has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report and is rated a five-star nursing facility by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). Additionally, the Residential Living Center:

  • Features quality nursing staff, many of whom have worked at the facility for many years
  • Provides care when you or a loved one cannot live independently for either a short time or indefinitely
  • Serves as a clinical teaching site for nursing aid students

Our services

Anderson County Hospital's Residential Living Center features:

  • 24-hour nursing care. Our highly trained nursing staff provides the highest quality of care to our residents.
  • Nutrition services. Residents enjoy foods that they like and that fit their dietary needs. Residents appreciate a variety of choices at each meal.
  • Restorative program. We have a full-time restorative aide who develops a rehabilitation program to fit the individual needs of each resident and assists them with regaining the highest level of function possible.
  • Physical and occupational therapy. Consultation is available to help our residents reach their physical potential.
  • A licensed social worker. This person is available to meet the emotional and psychological needs of residents during their stay and assist them with their transition back to the community, when able.
  • Activities. We take pride in offering a wide variety of activities to help our residents enjoy each moment.
  • On-site beauty shop. Our hair care specialists keep residents looking their best.
  • Immediate access to care. We offer primary, specialty, and emergency care as needed.
  • Lab and Radiology services. We have access to these important services at Anderson County Hospital.
  • Faith services. We provide a variety of faith services on-site every Sunday and bible study during the week.
  • Volunteer opportunities. We have a large volunteer group of community members who help bring a wide variety of activities to our facility and provide many opportunities for our residents to stay engaged with the community.
