Community Health Needs Assessments

Saint Luke’s Health System conducts Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) for each of its hospitals through a collaborative approach designed to identify and prioritize the greatest health care needs in each of the communities we serve.

Each CHNA will help Saint Luke’s Health System hospitals allocate resources to make the greatest impact on improving health through outreach, prevention, education, and wellness efforts. Strategies for meeting the identified needs of our communities are outlined in Community Benefit Implementation Plans, which include goals and objectives for implementing community benefits.

The CHNAs fulfill a requirement of the Affordable Care Act, but more importantly, they reflect our hospitals’ longstanding commitment to partnering with our communities to ensure we continue to provide impactful care to the people we serve.
