- Since 1882, Saint Luke's Hospital has enjoyed a heritage of excellence. The strength, stability and continuity of service that Saint Luke's provides for the people of Kansas City and the Midwest must be maintained. The purpose of the Heritage Society is to continue and strengthen the mission of healing and "presence of care" for those who come after us.
- Heritage Society members continue a Saint Luke's tradition of committed people serving others. Their foresight directs present decisions to future philanthropy. They carry on what those who have gone before have given us, and pass that heritage on to those who follow in the future.
- All those who include Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation in their wills, trusts, insurance, annuities or other estate planning qualify for membership in the Heritage Society. Members have the option of being recognized in Foundation publications or remaining anonymous.
- Heritage members do not need to attend meetings, but are invited to an annual luncheon for an insider's report on the hospital. They also receive a framed sketch of the hospital. In addition, Heritage Society members are kept abreast of Foundation and hospital activities through regular Foundation newsletters and publications.
- We invite you to remember Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation in your will or estate plans and to become a member of the Heritage Society. If you would like to discuss planned giving options and membership in the Heritage Society, please e-mail Andy Morrison, Director of Planned Giving, or call (816) 932-3714.
- Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation is certified as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization by the United States Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Checks, securities, deeds, bequests and other legal documents should be made payable or transferable to Saint Luke's Hospital Foundation, Inc.
