Kidney (Renal) Transplantation at Saint Luke’s Hospital
Deceased Donor Transplantation
  • Saint Luke’s Renal Transplant Program works through the Midwest Transplant Network of Kansas City for the allocation of the kidneys
  • Deceased donors organs are acquired based on the criteria set forth by the United States Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS)
  • A Renal Transplant Coordinator is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week for Pre and Post Transplant calls
