Translational Research - the study from the lab to the bedside
In 2006, over 200 Saint Luke’s research projects were sponsored by the National Institute’s of Health; the American Heart Association; pharmaceutical and device partners; as well as the Saint Luke’s Hospital Foundation.
Thousands of Kansas City area patients participated in over 250 clinical trials currently underway at Saint Luke’s.
Seventy-four practicing clinicians are also involved in clinical research.
