- Course Description

- This is a 12-month program providing clinical training and self-directed didactic course work. The clinical training includes exposure to a variety of areas of MRI imaging including MR-angiography, BOLD functional imaging as well as spectroscopy. Significant exposure to neuro/stroke imaging is also included. Upon completion interns will be eligible to sit for the MRI Registry offered through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- Program Hours
- Clinical and self-study are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Beginning and finishing times vary. The core curriculum includes objectives to be completed within given time frames. Clinical rotations will include sites other than Saint Luke’s Hospital.
- Entry Requirements for the MRI Internship Program
•Applicants must be graduates of an accredited radiologic program (a minimum of two years in length) and be eligible for or have passed the radiography registry.
• Registered by A.R.R.T.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Prior Clinical Experience
