Here are some of the highlights regarding our financial aid options at Saint Luke's College. Please keep in mind, admission to Saint Luke's College is dependent on successful completion of general education courses. Taking general education requirements at community colleges may assist you in decreasing your overall cost of nursing education.
Federal, State, and Institutional Grants and Loans
- A variety of aid is available to all students in the form of grants and/or loans.
- For those who qualify, a number of these programs are Federal or State funded.
- Grants need not be repaid, however all of the loan programs have low interest rates and easy repayment plans.
Scholarships
- Over half of the nursing students are on scholarship.
Scholarships range from $2,000.00 per year to $9,000.00 per year.
- Most scholarships are need based (as determined by the results of FAFSA), however some are merit based.
- Most scholarships require a written essay as a part of the application process.
Some senior level scholarships are nomination based.
- Students not receiving scholarships may also qualify for other types of
grants or loan.

- The Tuition
Advancement Program is offered to students at Saint Luke's College
in their junior year for their senior year. The program will pay

return for a commitment to work full-time on selected units on
the night shift at Saint Luke's Hospital for two years after graduation.

- What is the average amount of scholarships given?
- Are these scholarships need-based, merit-based, or offered to everyone?
- What is the cost of tuition, and fees for an academic year?
- Is a scholarship actual money that comes from an outside source or a discount from
the student's tuition?
- How does the institution determine need/merit based qualifications?
