The Mid America Heart Institute (MAHI) Outcomes Research Center invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral training program. This fellowship provides curriculum, mentored research, and independent research experiences to train the next generation of leaders in the fields of cardiovascular clinical and outcomes research.
The Training Program offers:
- Substantial (>75 percent) protected time for research
- Advanced seminars of specialized skills for outcomes research
- Opportunity to obtain an MS in Clinical Research for those without prior formal training in the field
- Salaried position based on NIH postdoctoral stipend scales
- Benefits including health, dental, disability, and life insurance; vacation time; as well as funds for travel expenses to professional conference(s)
Eligibility
- Possess an M.D., D.O., Ph.D., or equivalent degree
- U.S. permanent resident or hold an appropriate visa
- Applicants are welcome from internal medicine, cardiology, public health, nursing, etc.
