The Charles N. Kimball Memorial Cardiovascular Research Library & Education Center serves Heart Institute staff, students, residents and fellows. Dedicated to advancing learning and stimulating inquiry into cardiology, the library provides a range of professional and public-health related education and research.

Dr. Charles N. Kimball was the President of Midwest Research Institute, a nationally-respected scientific research institution located in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Kimball devoted his skills in science and technology for the betterment of society. After his death in 1995, his friends and family, through generous contributions, funded the establishment of the Kimball Center. Mid America Heart Institute of Saint Luke's Hospital at Kansas City is proud to be associated with such an accomplished and respected Kansas Citian.
