Mammography

Early detection is your best defense against breast cancer. A mammogram, or an X-ray of the breast, along with a clinical breast exam is the best method available for detecting breast cancer. Saint Luke's Health System offers both screening and diagnostic mammograms at a variety of locations for your convenience. For more information or to schedule a mammogram, please call the Saint Luke's mammography location closest to you.
When should I get a mammogram?
  • The American Cancer Society recommends women receive an annual mammogram starting at age 40.
  • If you have a family history of breast cancer, your physician may recommend an annual mammogram starting before age 40.
