The Mid-America Cleft & Craniofacial Program utilizes a multi-disciplinary team of professionals to address the unique and complex needs of patients born with these common birth defects. Cleft lip and palate are congenital (present from before birth) abnormalities that affect the upper lip and the hard and soft palate of the mouth. Team members provide expert skill and attention to their specialty area, while staying abreast of all other aspects of the treatment process.
