Heart Safe Community Partnership

The Heart Safe Community Partnership evolved as a good will initiative, designed to encourage the community to invest in themselves in an effort to increase survival from sudden cardiac arrest. Community support of this initiative is vital as we strive to be recognized as a role model ‘heart safe community' in the United States.

The Partnership promotes awareness about Sudden Cardiac Arrest and supporting the vital role of automatic external defibrillators (AEDs) where people work, play, learn, or worship.

The Saint Luke's Difference
  • In its first 5 years, 3300 community first responders have been trained and 329 AEDs placed and by the Heart Safe Community team.
