Cabot - A Westside Story, 1966 to Present |

- 1966 - Through generous donations the Richard Cabot Club built and moved into a new facility. The cost of the new facility was $67,725.

- 1971 - In response to increased community need, an addition was built to the facility at 1818 Summit.
- 1981 - A sliding fee scale was initiated for those patients who could afford to pay for services. The clinic became Medicaid certified.

- 1984 - The clinic began providing medical and dental services to migrant workers in Lexington, Missouri.
- 1992 - The clinic's women's health program was initiated and creatively stffed with nurse practitioners.

- 1995 - The Kansas City metro area's first bilingual diabetes program was started at the clinic.
- 1997 - Contracts were established with area health insurers to proivde primary health care for Medicaid eligible individuals.
- 1998 - Cabot received the Colgate Palmolive Company's "Bright Smiles / Bright Futures" community service. In partnership with the Heart of America United Way and the Maternal Child Health Coalition of Greater Kansas City, the clinic became the first and only bilingual "Healthy Start" site.
- 1999 - The clinic's name is officially changed to Cabot Westside Clinic. Ties are strengthened with Saint Luke's Health System through a formal affiliation.
- 2000 - With financial support from the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation, Hall Foundation and Bank of America, Cabot Westside Clinic opened its new pediatric clinic.
- 2001 - With patient capacity at a maximum, Cabot launched a capital campaign to build a new facility.

- 2002 - Cabot Westside Clinic changes its name to Cabot Westside Health Center.
- 2004 - Cabot Westside Health Center moves to its new facility at 2121 Summit, doubling the size of its previous space.

- 2006 - Cabot Westside Health Center celebrates 100 years of service to the community.
